Well an A prefix plate comes back as an August 1983 to July 1984 car so would be legal and it’s not like all the Series and Defender body panels aren’t interchangeable to make it look very much newer.
I had some beef and red wine mezzalune with a tomato sauce.

It would be....Land Rovers in the UK (and anywhere else in Europe for that matter) were diesel only or almost so for a long time. They ended up with a Ford 2.2 from the Transit.
